I’m a student of life. I’m teachable, most of the time, and the rest of the time I’m distracted or stubborn or both.
When I approach life with an attitude of humility and honesty and open-mindedness, I learn the best.
Other times, when my attitude is more bleak and limited, I learn from the consequences of actions and choices.
Consequently, I prefer to select my attitude in advance, since there’s less suffering and more enjoyment in the former approach, rather than the latter.
